Juhi Jain is a Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant(BMT) physician at Banner University Medical Center Tucson and an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics. Her outpatient focus is pediatric hematology, and inpatient time is dedicated to pediatric hematology, oncology and BMT. She is the pediatric director of the Arizona Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center Tucson and the Women’s Bleeding Disorder Clinic. Dr. Jain is the site principal investigator on the HRSA grant with the Pacific Sickle Cell Regional Collaborative that strives to improve the health of individuals with sickle cell disease. She completed her fellowship at the Emory School of Medicine with scholarly graduation from the Health Equity, Advocacy and Policy track. She was the CURE Childhood Cancer Foundation Sam Robb Fellow and the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Hematology Oncology Executive Committee Fellow Liaison. She has extensive advocacy experience and was part of the Aflac Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine in general pediatrics and received her MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine with scholarly graduation from the Health Law Pathway. Dr. Jain has written several case reports and review articles and she has presented her work both nationally and internationally. Dr. Jain served as the site principal investigator for a retrospective review of patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms treated with pegylated interferon. She has extensive research experience including understanding the molecular mechanisms of p53 mutations in cancer, analyzing the genomic landscape of Down Syndrome leukemia, the role of integrative oncology in the breast cancer population, and the role of genetics in various disease processes. Her research in fellowship focused on developing innovative combination nanoparticle therapies for hard-to-treat leukemias and she is listed as an inventor on the current patent application.
