Taylor Sparring is a PhD candidate in the Medical Sciences program at McMaster University. She is completing her thesis under the supervision of Dr. Colin Kretz at the Thrombosis and Atherosclerosis Research Institute (TaARI). Her research involves investigating the role of the VWF C domains in VWF biosynthesis and secretion by profiling a mutagenesis library of the VWF C domains and validating functional consequence by cataloguing variants that increase/decrease secretion from cells.
