Dr Geneviève McCluskey, of Irish nationality, is a post-doctoral researcher in the team of Dr Cécile Denis at the INSERM U1176 lab in Kremlin-Bicetre hospital, Paris.
After attaining her degree in Biology she completed her Masters in Physiology, Epigenetics, Development and Differentiation at Grenoble Alpes University in 2017. Her PhD at Cardiff University, under the supervision of Dr Meike Heurich, concerned the crosstalk between complement and coagulation and how the complement regulator, factor H, enhanced thrombin’s anticoagulant (protein C activation) and procoagulant roles (fibrin formation).
She is currently working with Dr Caterina Casari, alongside Peter Lenting and Cécile Denis, on the impact of Emicizumab in Von Willebrand Disease.
