I am Nitty Mathews M.D. Ph.D., working as a Laboratory Haematologist at Christian Medical College, Vellore in India. My areas of interest include haematopathology, haemostasis & thrombosis, and fibrinolysis. In March 2022, I completed my Ph.D. in Medical Photonics from Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, Japan. My doctoral research included investigating the role of an inhibitor to TAFI (Thrombin-activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor) in potentiating tissue plasminogen activator-mediated fibrinolysis using intravital imaging analysis in a mouse model.
