My name is Juan Pablo Frontroth, Biochemist of the Laboratory of Hemostasis and Thrombosis of the Hospital de Pediatría Prof. Dr. Juan P. Garrahan.
Our task is focused on the study of hemostasis alterations in children, from newborns to 16 years-old age.
My specific task is the study of platelet disorders and von Willebrand's disease. These range from the collection of phenotypic data to functional and molecular biology studies to arrive at a correct diagnosis of these diseases.
