Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Campinas, Brazil. The main research interests are the interface between hemostasis and endothelial function in acute inflammatory conditions, in particular thrombosis, through the evaluation of endothelial colony-forming cells.
Also involved with the regenerative medicine field, has published previous studies with Platelet-Rich Plasma.
