I am an enthusiastic scientist with 5 years of experience in academia and with solid and well-documented background in different fields as haematology-immunology, proteomics and pharmacology. I have recently obtained my PhD in Molecular Medicine at University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. During my PhD, I was leading two main projects that were part of my dissertation. In the first project, I analysed the impact of platelet storage lesion in platelet-derived extracellular vesicles using flow cytometry and quantitative proteomics. The second one was in collaboration with the Dentistry Department to characterize by proteomics the secretome of platelet-derived biomaterials used for tissue regeneration in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Moreover, I evaluated the regenerative effect of the secretome on human dermal fibroblast, osteoblast and mesenchymal stem cells finding faster wound healing closure and osteogenic differentiation.
