Jennifer Crossen is a PhD Candidate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, USA. She is a member of Dr. Scott Diamond's lab at Penn and her research focuses on understanding transport and reaction processes in fibrin. She is currently looking at the dynamics between thrombin and fibrin within whole blood and plasma clots, specifically the mechanisms by which thrombin is "trapped" within fibrin fibers during coagulation.
