Si Jing Chen, Ph.D., is a research fellow of Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA), Kyoto University, Japan. Si Jing joined Prof. Koji Eto’s group at CiRA in 2016 as a postdoctoral researcher. A key focus of her research is how to produce artificial platelets efficiently in vitro for clinical application. She is also interested in exploring the immune properties of human megakaryocytes by using iPSC-derived megakaryocyte progenitor models.
