Dr Corinne Frere is Associate Professor of Haematology at Sorbonne Université, Paris, France.
Her main research interests include the management of antithrombotic therapy in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and venous thromboembolism (VTE), and the development of new haemostasis methods. Her efforts have spanned participating to numerous clinical research studies on these topics. Her contributions reflect her goal of making tangible improvements to this field of healthcare.
She is currently serving on the French-speaking Group Thrombosis & Cancer (GFTC) board and on the International Initiative on Thrombosis and Cancer (ITAC) steering committee. She has participated in the 2019 update of the ITAC clinical practice guidelines for the treatment and prophylaxis of VTE in patients with cancer.
She has published over 165 peer review articles.
