Dr Amie Waller has worked at the University of Cambridge for seven years within the group of Prof. Cedric Ghevaert. Previous work experience includes a four year post as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Reading. She is currently a serving member of the Early Career Researchers working group for The Platelet Society. Current interests include the production of platelets from iPSC derived megakaryocytes that are resistant to clearance, and the direct effect of ssRNA genome viruses on platelet production and function.
