Dr. Saskia von Ungern-Sternberg obtained her doctoral degree (Dr. rer. nat.) in 2018 at the Dept. of Cardiology and Angiology, University Hospital Tübingen, Germany (Prof. Dr. Meinrad Gawaz). She joined the research group of PD Dr. Kerstin Jurk at the Center for Thrombosis and Hemostasis (CTH), Mainz, Germany in 2021 as postdoc to continue her exciting and important platelet research.
