Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Universidad Andrés Bello. Thesis student of the PhD program in Molecular Biosciences, Faculty of Life Sciences, Universidad Andres Bello, in which I am on a scholarship from the National Agency for Research and Development of Chile. I teach clinical immunology and advanced immunology, and cell biology, among other courses. In my undergraduate years, I studied intracellular trafficking phenomena of nanoparticles, inflammatory characterization of natural extracts, and biological characterization of rhenium-based compounds. Currently, I belong to the Integrative Pathophysiology laboratory of the Faculty of Life Sciences. I am currently a member of the Millennium Institute of Immunology and Immunotherapy, University of Chile. My research consists of elucidating the role of calcium ion channels and endothelial adrenergic receptors in the regulation of hemostasis under conditions of systemic inflammation.
