Dr. Claire Comerford is a Haematology specialist registrar on the Irish higher specialist training scheme who is currently undertaking a clinical research fellowship and PhD degree in the Irish Centre for Vascular Biology in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Her research focuses on haemostatic mechanisms in multiple myeloma disease and is particularly focused on the role of von Willebrand Factor in multiple myeloma disease. Her research supervisors are Dr. Jamie O'Sullivan, principal investigator in RCSI, Prof. John Quinn, Consultant Haematologist in Beaumont Hospital and Prof. Siobhan Glavey, Professor of Pathology, RCSI.
