Manager Assay Development
Enzyre
Lisa van Engelshoven, MSc. is a Manager Assay Development at Enzyre, Nijmegen. During her Master of Molecular Life Sciences studies, she interned at Enzyre, which eventually led to her current position. Enzyre is a spin-off company from Radboudumc, which is currently in the scale-up phase, focussing on the development of a point-of-care platform to monitor the blood coagulation status of patients. Enzyre aims to bring the lab to the patient, thereby enabling at-home testing. The ultimate goal is to allow patients to manage their own diseases. Lisa's main research topics are focussed on developing chemiluminescent-based coagulation assays and miniaturizing these to a total volume of 0.1 µL. Aside from the development of novel chemiluminescent-based assays, she also manages several other projects including miniaturized blood collection methods and plasma processing within Enzyre's point-of-care platform application.
