Helen Philippou (PhD) is Professor of Translational Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Leeds, and Founder Director of LUNAC (developing safer anticoagulants). She is on the Editorial Board of JTH, and is Scientific Secretary for the British Society of Haemostasis and Thrombosis (BSHT), Co-Chair for the FXI and Contact System ISTH SSC, Member of the International Advisory Board for the ISTH 2020/2021 Congresses and a Theme Lead for the Organization Committee for ISTH Society for the meeting in London in 2022. Previously she was Chairman for the FXIII and Fibrinogen ISTH SSC.
