My name is Nadejda Diaconu, PHD, cardiologist at the Institute of Cardiology in the Republic of Moldova. I was born on 28.05.1978 in Balti, a city in the Republic of Moldova. I spent my childhood in my natal village. I graduated school in 1995. I continued my studies at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacology of Moldova "N. Testimiteanu" from 1995 until 2001. Between 2001-2004 I did my residency in Internal medicine, and in 2004 I was accepted for postgraduate studies. In 2011 I took my PHD. During these years, I have been working on research projects. In 2011, I started working as a cardiologist at the Institute of Cardiology. I am the author of 65 publications. In 2017, I founded the Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis in the Republic of Moldova and I have been the president of the society ever since. During my studies, I developed my abilities in different fields, such as : somnology, arrithmology, thrombosis and haemostasis, functional diagnostic etc. I taught a lot of doctors in this field and wrote national protocols in this domain. In my free time, I like to dance, to draw, to drive, to watch movies, to walk in the wild nature and plant flowers in my garden. I am fluent in 4 languages (Romanian, Russian, English and French). My dream is to contribute to the development of medicine in Moldova so that it matches the EU state.
