Jesse W. Rowley, PhD, is a research associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the the University of Utah. Dr. Rowley received his PhD in immunology from Johns Hopkins University. He transitioned to platelet research during a post-doc at the University of Utah studying platelet gene expression. His current research merges RNA-seq and other omics with wet bench research, including CRISPR in megakaryocytes, to define novel platelet gene functions.
