Dr. Terry "TJ" Schaid, MD is a third-year General Surgery resident and NIH T32 Training Fellow at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado, USA. Under the mentorship of Dr. Mitchell Jay Cohen, MD, his research focuses on thromboinflammation and endothelial dysfunction in trauma. He is passionate about the care of the traumatically injured patient, and after residency, he plans to pursue additional surgical training in Trauma/Critical Care.
