Degree in Biomedicine from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2003), a Master's degree in Biological Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2005) and a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2009). Currently Adjunct Professor III at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Has experience in Biochemistry, with emphasis on Glycids, working mainly on the following topics: antithrombotics, glycosaminoglycans and sulfated polysaccharides. Currently studying the expansion of intracerebral bleeding associated with anticoagulant therapy by a collagenase model in rats.
