Martijn Brands (MD, PhD candidate) is a physician-researcher at the Amsterdam University Medical Center in the Netherlands. Previously, Martijn has worked as a medical resident in pediatrics, but currently, he is a fulltime PhD student. The main focus of his PhD is twofold: (1) the organization of care for people with a congenital bleeding disorder, and (2) to improve patient empowerment through the use of digital health tools.
