Presentation title: Exploring the conformational landscape of Factor VIII B-domain in order to generate an all-atom full-length structure of the coagulation factor VIII protein.
I completed my Masters in Molecular biology from the University of Mysore, India, and further gained research experience from the renowned institutes of India such as the Indian Institute of Science and Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology where I developed a strong interest in Protein structural biochemistry. I started my Ph.D. at the Institut für Exp. Hämatologie und Transfusionsmedizin (IHT) under the guidance of PD Dr. Arijit Biswas in 2021. I am presently working on the Structural characterization of the FVIII B-domain as well as actively engaged in other ongoing projects in the lab. I am an ardent learner who is developing dry-lab and wet-lab skills at the same time now, along the course of my Ph.D. Additionally, I have also learned and mastered Indian Classical-Carnatic vocal music.
