My name is Harsh Sharma, DO and I am an internal medicine resident at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. My goal is to create and implement systems-based changes that improve provider workflow and efficiency, with the ultimate aim of liberating physicians to truly know their patients, meet them where they are (considering their socioeconomic disparities in health, for example), and create individualized treatment plans. I am applying for hematology/oncology fellowship this summer (2022) with the hopes of starting the next step in my academic training next year.
