Olav Versloot holds a BSc. in physiotherapy, a MSc. In human movement sciences and a MSc. In clinical epidemiology, for which he studied in Amsterdam and Utrecht. He worked as a physiotherapist and an exercise physiologist in elite (youth) football before teaming up with the van Creveldkliniek in Utrecht in 2017 to start his PhD project. This PhD project is called "Sports Participation and Injuries in people with haemophiliaā€¯ (SPRAIN) and is supervised by prof. dr. Roger Schutgens, dr. Kathelijn Fischer and dr. Janjaap van der Net. Besides his PhD project, he is currently a lecturer in physiotherapy at the Institute of Human Movement Studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht. He lives with his wife and 3 children in Krommenie, the Netherlands where he enjoys running, cycling, good music and reading in his rare spare time.
