Clinical Research Fellow / PhD Student
Queen Mary Univeristy of London, UK
My name is Andrea Rossetto (MD) and I am 3rd Year PhD Student and Clinical Research Fellow at the Centre for Trauma Sciences (C4TS), Queen Mary University of London (UK). Following my graduation at Verona University (Italy), I started working in 2018 as a Research Assistant at the C4TS focusing on the fibrinolysis transition after injury in severe trauma patients. After a brief clinical experience, I joined the C4TS team again as Clinical Research Fellow in 2019 and then registered as a PhD Student in early 2020. In my PhD, I have been focusing on the role of platelet transfusion during haemostatic resuscitation and the potential benefit associated to the use of cold-stored platelets.
