I started pursuing my scientific career after obtaining Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Delhi University, India (2015). Later, in 2015, I was selected to pursue a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), India. After graduating, I was accepted as a Ph.D. student in the International Ph.D. Program of the Institute of Molecular Biology, Mainz (2017), where I got an opportunity to carry forward my research career in the working group of Prof. Dr. Wolfram Ruf at the Center for Thrombosis and Hemostasis (CTH), University Medical Center Mainz. Currently, I am in the fifth year of my Ph.D. focusing on the protease-dependent PAR-2 signaling in the regulation of diet-induced obesity.
