Denise Johnson (M.Sc.): I am currently doing my PhD under Prof. Dr. Bernhard Nieswandt at the Institute of Experimental Biomedicine I and the Rudolf-Virchow-Center for Integrative and Translational Biomaging which are located at the University Hospital in Würzburg, Germany.
I did my bachelor´s and master´s degree in Biology at the University of Würzburg. During my studies, I mainly focused on oncology and neurology. I´ve started my PhD in 2020, during which I am working on the glycoprotein αIIbβ3 and its role in hemostasis, inflammation and infection.
