Dr. Cristina Puy is a Research Instructor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Oregon Health & Science University. She received her B.S. in Biology and a Ph.D. degree in Thrombosis and hemostasis from the University of Navarra, Spain, where her research focused on the characterization of the interaction of factor VII with the endothelial protein C receptor. She performed her postdoctoral research in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Oregon Health & Science University, in the group of Dr. Owen McCarty, studying new mechanisms by which the contact pathway of coagulation can regulate fibrin generation.
