Dr Dearbhla Doherty (MB BCh BAO) is a PhD student at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and Haematology fellow on the Wellcome/HRB funded Irish Clinical Academic Training (ICAT) Programme. Her PhD, "Defining the pathophysiological mechanisms underling Low VWF in the Low VWF in Ireland Cohort (LoVIC) study" is based at the O'Donnell Laboratory in RCSI and the National Coagulation Centre of Ireland, St James's Hospital.
