Louise Burggraaf is trained as a medical doctor, currently she works as a PhD student at the department of Clinical Epidemiology of Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands. Her research focus on optimal anticoagulant therapy, including a trial on optimal treatment duration after a first venous thromboembolism (the L-TRRiP study) and several projects regarding safety and efficacy of oral anticoagulant therapy.
