Anna R. Sternberg, Ph.D. is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Lindsey George's lab at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She received her doctorate from Georgetown University in 2020, where she characterized novel targets in Plasmodium falciparum for the development of next-generation antimalarial therapies. At CHOP, her work involves pre-clinical analysis of a factor VIII variant for use in hemophilia A gene therapy, as well as elucidating the biological mechanisms behind unexpected phenomena observed in HA gene therapy.
