Susan M. Shea, MSME, PhD, Assistant Professor of Surgery and Bioengineering, Trauma and Transfusion Medicine Research Center (TTMRC), Department of Surgery, University of Pittsburgh - Dr. Shea utilizes microfluidic models and other flow-based assays to study thrombosis and hemostasis in the context of trauma and transfusion medicine. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs in the Pittsburgh suburbs. Dr. Shea is grateful for her wonderful team of lab staff and trainees and supportive collaborators.
