Dr. MIchelle Lavin (MB, PhD, FRCPath) is a Consultant Haematologist at the National Coagulation Centre, Dublin with research based in the Irish Centre for Vascular Biology, RCSI, Dublin. Her research focuses on the impact of bleeding disorders particularly on Women and Girls with Bleeding Disorders (WGBD), the use of bleeding assessment tools and understanding the phenotypic variability in bleeding disorders. She serves as the Chair of the VWD and Rare Bleeding Disorder Committee of the World Federation of Haemophilia (WFH) and a Co-Chair on the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD) WGBD Committee.
