Professor of Hematology
Université Paris Cité and Georges Pompidou Hospital
I am Full Professor of Hematology in Paris University and European Georges Pompidou Hospital in Paris.
After residency and fellowship in Haematology department of European Georges Pompidou hospital, I completed a PhD on “thrombin receptor activation in endothelial progenitor cells” in 2006. My scientific focus is hemostasis and vascular biology in particular in context of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. One of my main interest is understanding vasculogenic potential of endothelial progenitor cells and their ontogeny. In 2018, I was elected co-chairman of the Scientific and Standardization Committee on Vascular Biology of the ISTH for endothelial progenitor section. Since 2019, I am the director of the Biosurgical research lab in European Georges Pompidou Hospital.
