I’m a specialist in internal medicine and hemostasis, and my main theme of research is focussed on autoimmune diseases, and particularly antiphospholipid syndrome, both in clinical research and as part of a translational project in the murine model.
I undertake research in antiphospholipid syndrome, as well as in thrombosis and hemostasis. I had the chance to be cochair for four years in the lupus anticoagulant Ssc subcommitttee and since two years member of the ISTH nominating Committee. As cochair of lupus anticoagulant SSc I lead three projects NYMPHEA and SKYLARK and initiate and colead a third one CORA registry (common project with the Women's health SSc). I am the coordinator of the international project SKYLARK 2019 Ssc ISTH (ISTH funding obtained on 25 November 2019), and of the international project NYMPHEA 2018 Ssc ISTH (ongoing), which is “The Impact of the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies in non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
I also coordinate the international project and international registry HIBISCUS : Hydroxychloroquine in the treatment of primary APS (2016 -ongoing).
I have lead and obtained the orphan designation of Hydroxychloroquine in the APS (ODD) on 12 January 2017 by the European Medicines Agency and the European Commission (Eurema/CHMP/SAWP/284691/2017 Procedure No. EMEA/H/SA/3509/1/2017/PA/II).
I undertake fundamental research projects at the CNRS 6015 INSERM 1083 research unit: Basic study on the first description of relaxation dysfunction and contractility in a murine animal model of APS.
I am a reviewer/ expert of the national clinical research grants from the National Health Ministery (PHRC) and for the French National Research Agency (ANR), for the Congress European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) since 2019, member of the international groups Europhospholipid and EUROAPS since 2016.
