Dr. Omri Cohen received his MD from Ben Gurion University, Israel.
He specialized in both Internal Medicine and Hematology at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center affiliated with Tel Aviv University, Israel, completed a clinical fellowship in thrombosis and hemostasis at Sheba Medical Center, and a research fellowship at the Research Center on Thromboembolic Disease and Antithrombotic Therapies in Varese, Italy.
He currently leads the service for patients with unusual site thromboses at Sheba Medical Center.
His research projects focus on characterization, prevention and treatment of rare forms of venous thrombosis, thromboembolic diseases in adolescents and young adults, and peri-operative management of patients with hemophilia and rare bleeding disorders.
