Avi Leader MD is the head of the service for thrombosis and hemostasis issues in cancer patients at Davidoff Cancer Center, Rabin Medical Center, Petah Tikva, Israel. He currently holds positions as a senior hematologist at Rabin Medical Center and as a senior lecturer in the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel. The main foci of his research currently include: 1) Management of antithrombotic therapy in high-risk scenarios (e.g. thrombocytopenia, brain cancer, drug-drug interactions); 2) Vascular toxicity of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (translational); 3) Arterial thrombosis in cancer.
