Sophie Susen, MD, PhD, is a professor of haematology and director of the Department of Haemostasis and Transfusion at Lille University Hospital in Lille, France.
She has a special interest in von Willebrand disease and is the national coordinator for the French Reference Network for von Willebrand Disease and team leader for a research group at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm). She is the national coordinator for the French Network on inherited bleeding disorders.
