Delphine Borgel is a Professor in Hematology at Paris-Saclay University. She leads a research group at the INSERM UMR-S1176 that focuses on natural coagulation inhibitors, with particular expertise on protein S and on and endothelial dysfunction in inflammatory diseases. She is also Head of the Department of Hemostasis at the Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris, which hosts more than 30 reference centers for rare diseases.
She presently works on natural coagulation inhibitors in several clinical settings including congenital disorders of glycosylation, sickle cell disease, sepsis, or hemophilia.
She is the author and co-author of 107 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
