After an Internship in Clinical Pathology (2000-2005) at the Hospital "Spedali Civili di Brescia", Italy and a Doctorate in Pathology and Medical Genetics (2006-2009), University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy, Dr. Rossi has developed a wide experience in research as a postdoctoral researcher (2010-2016) at the "Consejo Superior de Investigacion Cientifica - CSIC" in Madrid, Spain, at the "Harvard Medical School - Children's Hospital", Boston, USA, at the University of Salamanca, Salamanca, Spain, to finally join the unit Inserm UMRS1140 - IThEM, Faculty of Pharmacy - University of Paris with a Associate Professor position in 2017. Thanks to her background in pathology and angiogenesis she is developping a new research project linking the cellular aspect of the vessel formation / functions and haemostasis. Currently she is studying the functions of a membrane glycoprotein (endoglin, CD105) in primary hemostasis and in endothelial cells or endothelial progenitor cells. Author of more than 70 publications (ORCiD: 0000-0002-0570-6104) in several international peer-reviewed journals, 3 ongoing patents, expert for project grants, member of the Editorial Board and Guest Editor of Scientific Journals she had the opportunity to supervise PhD students in different countries and languages, and to present her projects in many international congresses and meetings.
