Emma Gee is a Nurse Consultant in Thrombosis and Coagulation at King's College Hospital in London. Emma leads the VTE National Nursing and Midwifery Network (NNMN) in England, part of the VTE Exemplar Centres Network, and is passionate about preventing harm from hospital associated venous thromboembolism.
Emma qualified as a nurse in 2001 and worked in various medical and surgical specialities in England and Australia before joining King's Thrombosis Centre in 2007 where she rotated through anticoagulation, thrombosis and VTE prevention roles. Emma's special interests include thrombosis management including the psychological impact of VTE and leadership.
