This session will describe a variety of unanticipated psychosocial challenges in the post-Trikafta world of cystic fibrosis.
The presenters will discuss their findings and ideas varying from how body image perceptions have changed in post-Trikafta world to changes in CF care delivery models. They will discuss how Trikafta has affected sleep as well as fertility and reproduction in people with CF. And finally, they will discuss how CFTR modulators have changed the decision-making regarding treatments in patients who qualify for these highly effective treatments, as well as in those who don't just yet.
