Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Piper Beatty Welsh, JD, MPA, is the Sr. Manager of Community Grants and Organizational Partnerships in the Community Partnerships Department at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A Lawyer by training, she is also an adult with cystic fibrosis and the recipient of two double-lung transplants. After her first transplant, she returned to school at to get her executive master's in public administration at New York University, with a focus on nonprofit leadership. She later came to work at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundaiton, joining together her professional goals and personal passion. Among other roles, Piper is responsible for overseeing the Foundation's two community grants programs, Impact Grants and Community Support Grants, which offer funding for community-led projects and programs benefitting people with CF and their family members and loved ones. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and their two dogs.
