Katherine Carr, M.D., is a PGY-5 Pediatric Pulmonary fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and received her M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is board-certified in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Her primary clinical and academic interest is in suppurative lung diseases and she was awarded a NIH T32 training grant to study the unique phenotype of neonatal respiratory distress in Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia. She plans to pursue an academic career in CF and non-CF bronchiectasis.
