Aaron Trimble, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. After growing up near Anchorage, Alaska, he attended a small liberal arts college in the Shenendoah Valley before starting medical school at the University of Virginia. He remained in Charlottesville for residency before heading to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for fellowship in pulmonary & critical care medicine, with a particular interest in cystic fibrosis. Afterward, Dr. Trimble spent an additional year at UNC dedicated to CF clinical research and care. His desire to move back to the Pacific Northwest brought him to OHSU in August 2018. Dr. Trimble's research interests include clinical studies of mucociliary clearance as well as modulator use in reproductive health. In 2022, he became the clinical and TDC director of the adult program at OHSU. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, photography, cooking, and spending time with his wife and three young boys.
