Han-I is a postdoctoral researcher studying CFTR pharmacology in the department of pharmacology at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. When she was a medical student in the same university in 2013, she participated in a summer internship in Dr. Hwang Tzyh-Chang's electrophysiology lab at University of Missouri, USA, where she started her journey in studying the culprit of cystic fibrosis–CFTR chloride channel. In 2016, she decided to pursue a PhD in the department of medical pharmacology and physiology, focusing on the molecular pharmacology of CFTR. She graduated in 2019 and came back to Taiwan to continue her research on the structural-functional mechanisms of CFTR and CFTR modulators as a postdoctoral researcher.
