Chloe Ford, LCSW is a Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Social Worker at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work from Butler University while also playing Division I Volleyball. She then went on to receive her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Chloe is actively involved in Cystic Fibrosis initiatives. She is a Quality Improvement Leader and member of the Social Work and Psych Race and Health Equity Leadership Group. Chloe is also actively involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital at Chicago. She a co-founder of the Black Medical Social Work (BMSW) Council. She is a member of the President's Council on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Group and the Equity and Social Justice Special Working Group. She also serves as a Bias and Inclusion Ambassador where she facilitates sessions for staff on bias, inclusion, and antiracism. Chloe values building rapport with her patients and their families, and strives to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all backgrounds. Chloe believes a strong support system is important, and better results are achieved when everyone involved can work as a team. When Chloe isn’t at the hospital, you will find her on a volleyball court, bike riding, or exploring Chicago with family and friends.
