Dr. Christelle Bergeron is an adult respirologist at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke and an assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.
Dr. Bergeron graduated from the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec à Montréal in 2007, where she studied in musical performance. She then reoriented her career and obtained her MD at the University of Montreal in 2013.
Dr. Bergeron pursued her training in Internal Medicine and Respiratory Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Sherbrooke, where she graduated in 2018. She also completed a clinical fellowship in cystic fibrosis (CF) in Toronto at St. Michael’s Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Tullis in 2018-2019.
In January 2020, Dr. Bergeron became the Adult CF Clinic Director in Sherbrooke, where she coordinates the program and works with a multidisciplinary team to offer optimal CF care. She also has an interest in non-CF bronchiectasis. Dr. Bergeron is involved in several academic tasks. She is the co-director of the respirology program and she participates in numerous teaching and mentoring activities as well as in clinical research projects.
