Christopher Siracusa, MD. Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital (CCHMC) / University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
I have been a practicing pulmonologist since 2015, though began my interest in CF in 2009 as a resident. I have been the CF Center Director at CCHMC since 2019. My research focuses on the psychosocial and behavioral determinants of cystic fibrosis outcomes. I am an original member of the CF Foundation’s Success with Therapies Research Consortium, formed in 2015. I serve as the principal investigator at Cincinnati Children’s for multiple, multi-center studies related to adherence patterns and barriers in cystic fibrosis. Some of my clinical research studies involve the relationship among treatment complexity, burden and clinical outcomes in cystic fibrosis.
I am also actively involved in Qulaity Improvement, serving as our lead Physician Champion within the CF Learning Network. I have expertise implementing QI activities from large, multi-site trials, to small, site-specific projects.
