Christiana Guthrie, MPA, RRT, received an undergraduate degree from Angelina College in Respiratory Care and earned a master’s degree in Public Administration specializing in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. She joined the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) team at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler in the fall of 2009. In 2015 she became the center's CF Clinical Coordinator. In 2012, Christiana served as an apprentice in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Respiratory Apprentice/Mentor Program where she later became a mentor, in 2016. Along with her CF team members, she also participated in the CFF Learning and Leadership Collaborative quality improvement (QI) programs. Christiana has participated in clinical research and is an author of several poster presentations/abstracts on CF care and she has presented at the North American CF Conferences. Christiana is a member of the National Board for Respiratory Care, the American Association of Respiratory Care, and TSRC.
